Adopt-A-Book  is returning for 2011-2012!

Become Part of Ralston School      History through Adopt-A-Book

Ralston , like many schools , has limited funds for purchasing new books. Adopt-A-Book program is a way of introducing new Fiction books to broaden your student's horizons.

You may shop local, shop on the net or contribute directly to the library

with a cash donation. Write the check to Ralston School and

under memo write library.

I as a school library media specialist I keep the circulation and cataloging databases current. I provide collection analysis; order and process books and other materials (digital and print) to keep the collection current and in line with the state curriculum requirements. Today's school library programs are focused on helping students learn to think in more complex ways, to instill students with a love of reading and to prepare them to become information and technology literate, while enabling students to become independent life long learners.
