Ralston Student Council

Where students can make a difference!

Getting involved with the Ralston Middle School student council allows students to have a say in what activities and events are planned during the school year. Members of the council work under the direction of Mr. Matthew Pavao,  help organize student fundraisers and perform community service. They organize many of the activities for students during the school year.  Council members are elected yearly  in Late May/ Early June by their classmates. These students represent the student body for the following year in Student Council.

Through these activities and more, members of the council gain valuable experience in student government and become more responsible, active members of the Ralston Middle School community.

Students running for Student Government office must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Members of the student council are expected to:

  • Attend regular council meetings
  • Meet with their peers to receive feedback and hear student ideas and concerns
  • Volunteer at special events
  • Serve as role models to other students

If an officer receives a one-day suspension, that notice serves as a warning regarding his/her participation in the student government program.  Should that student receive another suspension, he/she will be immediately ineligible for continued participation in student government.
