It’s Back to School Time for Students on SamTrans

Earlier this year, SamTrans began the transition to the Clipper^®card, an all-in-one reloadable transit card. With the exception of the students that are on the Free and Reduced Lunch program, and that qualify for the Needy Family Monthly pass, all other paper Monthly passes will be moving to Clipper at the end of this year. The December 2011 pass will be the last paper pass sold.

Youth Monthly passes on Clipper require an application submission and identification verification process by a SamTrans representative in order to be issued. Clipper Youth applications can be obtained by visiting www.samtrans.com/clipper.
