Special Education
The Ralston Special Education Department consists of three Resource Specialist teachers, who serve students on an active Individual Education Plans (IEP) with mild to moderate disabilities. There is a Special Day Class for students on IEPs with moderate to severe disabilities and a Therapeutic Support Services class. A school psychologist and speech language pathologist are also on-site to provide the needed services for students on IEPs. The Special Education department works closely with general education staff to implement a student's IEP and provides consultation for the staff. For further information about the Belmont-Redwood Shores Special Program Department, please refer to the District's website, which can be found here.
