Spelling Bee

The Ralston Spelling Bee is early this year!

Interested students: please sign-up HERE by Sunday, September 22. *Please make sure to include a parent’s email address.*

The sooner you sign up, the sooner you will receive the word study list and other details.

To qualify, students will take the Scripps National Spelling Bee Online test: Wednesday, October 9, at 1:00 pm, in the Ralston library.

Students need the following for online testing:

• School-issued Chromebook

• Your own headphones

• Scripps Nat’l Spelling Bee account AND log-in information

Parents will receive registration information for the online testing via email.

The twenty highest-scoring Ralston students will advance to the live Spelling Bee.

LIVE SPELLING BEE; Wednesday, October 23, 1:15 pm in the Ralston gym.

Parents and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend (please sign in at the front office).

Our top three school champions will then move on to represent Ralston Middle School in the regional spelling bee, which also may include online tests in lieu of in-person spelling bee events.
