Education Commitment Campaign (ECC)

Since 2019 SchoolForce, the education foundation serving Belmont-Redwood Shores public schools, and the Ralston Parent Teacher Association (PTA) have partnered together to make it easier to support our students. Rather than being asked to contribute to multiple organizations, if you donate during the Education Commitment Campaign time period of Aug 1 - Oct 31, a single, combined donation will cover virtually all of your child’s educational needs. When you donate during the Education Commitment Campaign (ECC) from July 15 to October 31, your donation will help fund the people & programs (SchoolForce), and culture & community (PTA) that make Ralston a  great place to learn.

Why is financial support from families needed?

Belmont-Redwood Shores is  the 3rd lowest funded district of the 24 districts in San Mateo county due to the impact of  Proposition 13.

Corporate Matching

Easy Steps for Corporate Matching!

A corporate matching donation, or matching gift, is when a person makes a donation to a non-profit organization and their employer donates an additional amount, often equal to or greater than the employee’s donation. A matching gift is a great way for a donor to increase their contribution.

Start the matching process by checking with your Human Resources department as each employer has different requirements. Usually, it’s as easy as a few clicks away. Sometimes, the match request form consists of two parts, one which must be completed by the employee and the other which must be completed by Ralston PTA or SchoolForce. You can submit it online or mail the form along with your donation to us at the above address and we’ll complete it with required info and mail it to your employer! It’s that easy.
