PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR...

• Do you want to be more involved with Ralston’s music program?  The Ralston Music Boosters is always looking for parents to join the music booster steering committee, or volunteer for a single event or project.

• Don’t have time to join the music booster steering committee, but want to give back and help the music program?  There are plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the year and we need you!  Coming up we have:

  • 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. • Winter Concert – December 13th and 14th

                   • Music Boosters hosts a Bake Sale during the Ralston December and May music performances. We will be looking for families to bake and to staff the Bake Sale.

                   • Celebrate the Music Festival – April 28, 2024 (Sunday)

                   • Spring Concert – May 22nd and 23rd

SCHOOL YEAR - VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Parent volunteers are needed to make our music program possible! In case you don't know, the school district made significant changes to the volunteer clearance process several years ago.  

ANY volunteer at any BRSSD school must fill in a district Volunteer form online.  Please complete this form if you did not complete it last year.  Next, volunteers who will either be a chaperone on field trips or on the Disney music trip will need to have LifeScan clearance.  Go to the District's volunteer webpage for more information and please complete the paperwork well before you plan on volunteering.  Note:  There is a cost of ~$70 for the LifeScan clearance.  If this is a financial difficulty for you, please contact Laura Gosch in Ralston's front office.  If you are on campus 2-3 times per month, make sure your TB test is up to date as well.  NOTE:  Volunteers for uniform fitting or bake sale volunteers DO NOT require any background checks as there will be district employees present.
